Alert: Road closure on A52 Grantham Road, near Bottesford

We have been called to a report of an HGV having left the road which is now on its side, believed to be due to the high winds. The HGV was carrying 12 tons of empty pallets. 

The vehicle left Grantham Road on the A52, close to Bottesford. 

The road has been closed but recovery of the vehicle will not be able to take place until the weather conditions improve.

No injuries have been reported.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where possible.
